Biography:

Whiplash, a very important band in the mid eighties, forcing thrash metal to become the main extreme metal genre at that time, released 3 albums in that period. The first two are by far the best they recorded in the eighties. We are therefore proud to have releases these two together on one CD. Anyone who's into eighties thrash will be thrilled that it's finally on CD with the original covers in full on the booklet. This complete package also includes all lyrics from both albums and photos from the bandmembers.

We also re-released "Insult to Injury" on CD. As big bonus we put a full live gig on the disc. It includes the never before released track "Cyanide grenade". Another interesting point is that Whiplash reunited some years ago and recorded a reunion album 'Thrashback' for Massacre records. It was done in the original line-up and in the fast thrash style they were so famous for in the mid-eighties.

In the beginning of 1999 Displeased released another Whiplash album 'Messages in blood' which includes their both demos plus 2 live gigs, including a lot of unreleased materials !!!! This is a must have for all Whiplash and thrash fans. This album was due to big demand reissued in 2005 with a new cover.
